SHIPPING & RETURNS

We ship throughout New Zealand and offer local pickup from our workshop in Pakuranga, Auckland.

 
Processing times

Most orders are dispatched within 5–10 business days of payment being received. Custom and personalised items, including engraved keys, signage and bespoke laser or CNC work, may take longer depending on the complexity of the job. We'll always give you an honest estimate at the time of ordering, and we'll let you know if anything changes along the way.

 

Shipping costs and delivery

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the size, weight and destination of your order. We use trusted couriers for nationwide delivery.

 

Standard delivery times once dispatched:
  • Urban North Island: 1–2 business days

  • Urban South Island: 2–3 business days

  • Rural addresses: add 1–2 business days

Larger items such as signage may be sent via specialist freight. We'll be in touch directly to arrange delivery and confirm any additional costs.

 

Local pickup

You're welcome to collect your order from our workshop at 141 Cascades Road, Pakuranga Heights, Auckland, 2010.  Our workshop is located behind the Frames Galore building. We'll send you a notification once your order is ready to be picked up. Please bring your order confirmation with you.

 

Returns

We want you to be genuinely happy with what we make for you. If something isn't right, please get in touch within 7 days of receiving your order and we'll work with you to sort it out.

 

Custom and personalised items

Because custom and personalised items are made specifically for you, we don't offer returns, refunds or exchanges on these products.

 

This includes:

  • Personalised Keys

  • Custom signage

  • Bespoke laser-cut and engraved items

  • CNC-machined parts made to order

  • Personalised prints and branding work

 

Please double-check spelling, dates, sizing and design details carefully before confirming your order, as we work directly from the information you provide. If you spot an error after ordering, get in touch as soon as possible. We'll do our best to make changes if production hasn't started, but once we're underway we may not be able to amend the job.

 

Faulty or damaged items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days with photos of the item and the packaging. We'll either replace the item, repair it or refund you in full, whichever suits the situation best. Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act always apply, including for custom and personalised items.

 

Non-custom stock items

For non-personalised stock items, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original condition and packaging. Return shipping is at the customer's expense unless the item is faulty. Once we receive the returned item and confirm its condition, we'll process your refund within 5 business days.

To get in touch about a return or a faulty item, please email us at admin@thelasershop.co.nz with your order number, photos if relevant and a brief description of the issue. We'll guide you through the next steps.
